ANTIQUE PHOTOGRAVURE OF JOSEPHINE EARP KALOMA - An antique photogravure titled Josephine Earp Kaloma. Framed. The artwork is a photogravure, which is a photomechanical process that produces high-quality prints with a continuous tone. The image depicts a woman in a seductive pose, with her body partially covered by a sheer fabric. The woman in the image has long hair and is looking directly at the viewer, creating an intimate and alluring atmosphere. The original, unretouched photogravure used by Glen Boyer on the cover of I Married Wyatt Earp. He insisted it was a picture of Josephine from 1880 but the picture was actually copyrighted in 1914. Josephine Sarah Sadie Earp 1861 to 1944 was the common-law wife of Wyatt Earp, a famed Old West lawman and gambler. Bears blind stamps lower right Kaloma and copyright 1914.
