Signed and dated 1946 in the lower right. Unframed. Joszef Boksay was an artist of Carpathian descent, based in the territory which belonged to Hungaria before WWII and to Ukraine afterwards. He studied at the Hugarian Royal Academy of Fine Arts with Imre Revesz. Boksay is considered the founder of Uzhhorod school of art. Collectible Fine Art, Portraiture.
