In the center, a Soviet soldier stands armed with a rifle. In the lower part of the poster, tanks and planes are depicted, symbolizing military strength. On the left, a black and white caricature of Hitler and another Nazi figure is displayed near a sign with a hammer and sickle, a symbol of communism. Signed upper left and lower right. Dated 1937. Hand inscribed on the back side. Created by Boris Leo, 1904 to 1975. He was a cartoonist and the author of satirical posters, worked in besieged Leningrad.
