As Barbara accepted more commissions ranging from portraits to numerous landscapes and still lifes her profile within the London art world rose significantly. Her work garnered positive press and sold successfully, leading to occasional exhibitions at respected venues like the Leicester Galleries, the New Burlington Gallery, and the Royal Academy. Notably, she continued to exhibit with the Royal Academy under her married name, Barbara Morrison, in select years between 1951 and 1966.
