Hand painted with egg tempera, gesso and levkas on the wood panel. Nicholas is depicted as an Orthodox bishop, wearing the omophorion and holding a Gospel Book. There is Christ over his right shoulder holding out a Gospel Book to him and Theotokos over his left shoulder holding the omophorion.
