RUSSIAN SILVER GEMSTONES ENAMEL EASTER EGG WITH STAND - A large Russian 88 Silver and enamel Easter egg. The ware is separated into two halves. A gold wash interior. The exterior of the egg is enameled with polychrome scrollwork and floral patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The exterior is adorned with relief silver double headed Imperial eagles, and geometrical patterns, and enameled porcelain plaques depicting landscapes. The egg is encrusted with Amethyst stones and Ruby stones on the top and on the bottom. Completed with a figural stand with legs. The legs are made in a curved design.
