The badge features a white enamel cross with widened and slightly convex ends. Its outer edges are framed by a silver rim. A silver anchor is fixed on the vertical beam of the cross. In the center is a socket with the monograms of Alexander I and Nicholas II. Above the monograms is the golden imperial crown. Bears a screw back.
