LARGE RUSSIAN LIDDED 88 GILT SILVER ENAMEL TEA CADDY - A large Russian lidded gilt silver tea caddy decorated with floral and foliage cloisonne enameled patterns throughout the body. The caddy is designed in a tapering form with canted corners and a removable lid with a knob finial. The exquisite decoration employs a rich palette of colors. The front and sides feature bold, stylized scrolling foliate and floral motifs in the Pan-Slavic style. The vibrant enamels are separated by fine gilt-silver wires, creating intricate patterns.
