Hand signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, 106 of 200, lower left. Giancarlo Isola is a listed Italian Modernist painter, born in the Tuscan town of Livorno in 1927. He is known for colorful Cubist compositions. In 1959 he participated in the following exhibitions abroad: Obras de Pintura Italiana Contempranea in Lima, Peru, Italy; Three Directions in San Francisco, CA; Young Italian Painters in Tokyo, Japan; Young Italian Painters in Houston, TX; and other American venues in Charlotte, NC, and Galleria Roma in Chicago, IL.
