RUSSIAN SOVIET PROPAGANDA POSTER BY ARAM VANETSIAN - A Russian Soviet propaganda poster that celebrates the alliance between the industrial workers and agricultural peasants. Artist: Aram Vanetsian. OGIZ IZOGIZ, Moscow, Leningrad, 1937. Aram Vanetsian, Armenian, 1901 to 1971, studied at the Stroganov College and Vkhutemas. During his studies at the Stroganov College, he created a number of sketches of the events of the February Revolution in Moscow. In 1924, he was invited to the Bolshoi Theatre and took part in the creation of sketches and decorations for the opera by R.Wagners Lohengrin. After that, Aram Vanecian tried his hand as an illustrator and poster artist. He created illustrations for the works of N. Leskov The Dumb Artist, A. Pushkin The Queen of Spades and M.
