RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL GARNET JADE LETTER OPENER IOB - A Russian 84 gilt Silver and enamel letter opener. The handle is engraved with foliage patterns, covered with Guilloche enamel in a turquoise shade, adorned with a relief grape vine design, encrusted with Garnet stones, and an oval cut Jade stone, on the top. A collar of 27 rose-cut diamonds is set between the handle and the guilloche ring. The blade is decorated with a relief scrollwork ornament. Marked with a Russian Silver standard hallmark, a makers mark, and other marks. Presented in a wooden box with a clasp on the front. Russian Silver Wares and Accessories For Collectors.
