Vasyl Khmeluk, Ukrainian and French, 1903 to 1986, was an expressionist painter and a poet. Signed and dated 1936 lower right. A paper note from the University Museum of Pennsylvania with the name of the artist is attached to the back. Framed by a gilt wood frame with a nameplate.
