A plate with central floral motif, cobalt blue band and gilt grapevine motifs on the border, figurative rim. Attributed to Samuel Alcock, an English pottery manufacture active from 1828 to 1859. Unmarked. Second. A plate with central fruit basket motif, butterfly and floral motifs on the border, richly gilded. Unmarked. Attributed to Coalport, an English center of porcelain and pottery production between about 1795 and 1926. Third. A plate with a female portraiat in the center, presumably of the French Empress Josephine, with figurative border, light blue rim and gilding. Clarus Ware hallmark of a double ring with wings on the bottom, for Pope-Gosser China Company, an American porcelain import company.
