RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL RHODONITE INKWELL W DIAMONDS - A Russian carved rhodonite stone inkwell. Footed piece of upright rectangular shape with hinged lid. Gilt silver overlay of the crowned Imperial Eagle coat of arms, ornaments, and monogram decorates the body. The pink guilloche enameled cover features the monogram of Emperor Nicholas II. The item is richly garnished with diamonds. Hallmarks of 88 silver standard and makers marks are on the bottom and on the rims. The inkwell comes with a box.
