The icon is hand painted in traditional mixed media, using egg tempera over gesso and levkas on a wooden panel. The image is embellished with an 84 silver riza oklad, finely engraved. The silver is hallmarked with the Imperial Russian 84 silver standard, accompanied by makers marks. Presented in a wooden kiot with a clasp on the side.
