LOT OF TWO ANTIQUE PROMOTIONAL MOVIE PHOTOGRAPHS - A lot of two antique promotional photographs from two of the most significant films of the silent era during the 1920s. The first photo from Camille, 1921, features Alla Nazimova as Marguerite Gautier and Rudolph Valentino as Armand Duval. Based on Alexandre Dumas The Lady of the Camellias, this version is famous for its avant-garde Art Deco sets and costumes designed by Natacha Rambova. The second photo from Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ, 1925, shows Ramon Novarro and Francis X. Bushman. This was the most expensive silent film ever made, produced by the newly formed MGM.
