VINTAGE 1939 UZBEK SOVIET LABOR BADGE AWARD - A vintage 1939 Uzbek Soviet labor badge award commemorating the construction of the Great Fergana Canal in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. The design features a central red star with letters, flanked by figures of a male and female laborer amidst cotton bolls. A red enamel banner at the top displays a profile of Joseph Stalin, while the base features the letters BFK and UZ SSR on a blue enamel ground. Dated 1939 below. Marked and numbered on the backside.
