RUSSIAN IMPERIAL BORODINO RUBLE AWARD COIN NOVODEL - A Russian Imperial Borodino ruble award coin, minted by order of Nicholas I in honor of the anniversary of the Battle of 1812 and the 25th anniversary of the Paris Peace Treaty. On the obverse is the profile of Alexander I, beneath which is a sword entwined with laurels, with the inscription Alexander I, B.M., Emperor of All Russia around the rim. On the reverse is an image of a chapel monument and the coins denomination, with the inscription Borodino, August 26, 1812, opened August 26, 1839. This coin medal is a replica novodel.
