RUSSIAN BASHKADYKLAR INFANTRY REGIMENT BADGE - A Russian Imperial badge of the 185th Bashkadyklar Infantry Regiment. The badge is a gilt Maltese cross covered in red enamel. The cross is laid on a half wreath of laurel and oak branches bound in a ribbon tied in a bow. On the upperray of the cross is overlaid a double headed eagle beneath the Imperial crown and on the lower are the cyphers of the Emperors Alexander I and Nicholas II beneath the Imperial crown. On the lateral rays are the dates 1811 and 1911. Bears an illegible makers mark on the backside. Russian Imperial Badges And Military Awards For Collectors. Total weight: 25.65 g.
