USA DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION INSIGNIA SET - A lot of insignia and decorations belonging to members of the Daughters of the American Revolution DAR. A white ribbon with a wide blue stripe down the middle is the societys official ribbon. A gold filled medal Insignia is located at the bottom of the ribbon and is shaped like a distaff. It is the official symbol of the DAR. The outer rim reads Daughters of the American Revolution. Three gold bars are attached to the ribbon. The top bar typically denotes the chapter name, Salt Lake Valley, while the lower bars denote the names of ancestors who participated in the Revolution. These bars are engraved with the name Christian Gish. Marked with Gold Filled J.E. Caldwell & Co marks. Engraved, Margaret G. Beck, and numbered, on the backside. The lot also includes a decoration made in a ring shaped design and adorned with stones along the upper and lower edges. An eagle is engraved on the shield.
