VINTAGE AMERICAN CONSTITUTION OCEAN LINER PHOTOGRAPH - An original vintage photograph taken in Venice of the American SS Constitution ocean liner launched in 1950 for American Export Lines, designed for luxury service between New York and the Mediterranean. Note: The transatlantic ship was featured in I Love Lucy, and in the classic film An Affair to Remember, the famous liner also carried Grace Kelly from New York to Europe, where she would go from American movie star to Princess of Monaco. The constitution was a sister ship to the SS Independence. The SS Constitution was decommissioned in 1955, and while under tow to be scrapped in 1997, it sank 700 miles north of the Hawaiian Islands.
