NUDE COLOR PRINT ON CANVAS AFTER PAUL EMILE CHABAS - A color print on canvas after the original oil painting on canvas, September Morning, 1912 by French artist Paul Emile Chabas. Framed. The original painting was first presented at the Paris Salon. The painting became the object of a scandal in the United States in 1913, when the head of the New York Society for the Suppression of Vice condemned it as immoral, which only increased its popularity. The painting depicts a naked young girl standing in the cold water of a lake at dawn, and is considered an example of salon art.
