Vasiliev is a 20th century Russian artist, known for landscapes, interiors, genre scenes. In 1930, he graduated from on the best Russian art schools, Leningrad Art Institute, named after I. Repin. Since that time, he has participated in numerous exhibits all over Russia and in many countries including Germany, France, Japan and Finland.
