Signed lower right. Unfated. Matted and framed. Jean-Francois Favre studied fine arts in Paris and then settled a studio in Aquitaine. He lived in Polynesia for seven years and traveled regularly to Polynesia and Guyana to paint and exhibit. Favre's work is part of numerous collections in many public institutions, at the Gauguin Museum of Tahiti and the Museum of Stockholm, among others.
