UTAGAWA KUNISADA ANTIQUE JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINT - An antique, 19th century, Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock print by Utagawa Kunisada also known as Toyokuni III, 1786 to 1865, who was the most popular and prolific ukiyo-e artist of the 19th century. The triptych is titled Beauties by a teahouse in a cherry garden. Bears a paper label inscribed: the genuineness of this print is guaranteed by S. M. Shiba, Miyanoshita, as attested by his sea, similar to that on the back lower corner of this prints. Dated 1835. The scene illustrates three figures in an outdoor landscape.
