RUSSIAN HUSSAR REGIMENTAL BRONZE CROSS CHEST BADGE - A Russian regimental chest badge of the 9th Kiev Hussar Regiment of the Russian Empire. This version of the badge was intended for lower ranks, soldiers and non commissioned officers. The badge is in the form of a pattee cross with rounded ends, upon which is superimposed a small St. Georges Cross in white enamel. In the center of the small cross is a round medallion depicting the regiments patron saint, Archangel Michael, holding a sword and shield.
