NUDE FEMALE PORTRAIT ETCHING AFTER PABLO PICASSO - An etching on paper, Nude Woman with a Bent Leg, after the original artwork, 1931 by Pablo Picasso, Spanish, 1881 to 1973. This work is part of the famous Vollard Suite, a series of 100 etchings created by the artist between 1930 and 1937, commissioned by art dealer Ambroise Vollard. The etching depicts a nude female figure against a hatched window or wall. It is believed that the model for many of the works in this series was Marie Therese Walter, Picassos secret lover at the time. Framed.
