This work is part of the famous Vollard Suite, a series of 100 etchings created by the artist between 1930 and 1937, commissioned by art dealer Ambroise Vollard. The etching depicts a nude female figure against a hatched window or wall. It is believed that the model for many of the works in this series was Marie Therese Walter, Picassos secret lover at the time. Framed.
