The painting, with broad, dense brushstrokes and a warm, vibrant color palette, depicts a fragment of the face of Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Patricia Knop, 1940 to 2019 was a renowned American creative figure. In addition to painting and sculpture, she built a successful career in Hollywood as a screenwriter and producer.
