MENKEN - Created by German etcher Johann Heinrich Menken (1766–1838), this original print on paper depicts a rural landscape with a horse-drawn cart, cattle, and figures beside a stream beneath detailed tree foliage and clouds. Executed in intaglio technique, the work is signed in the plate 'Menken fec: ag: forti.' along the lower border below the impression.
