British Silver No. 4 Mk II Spike Bayonet with Scabbard and Webbing Frog - A British No. 4 Mk II spike bayonet, also known as a pigsticker, constructed from silver. This example features the standard socket mount designed to fit over the muzzle of a Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifle. The socket is clearly stamped with the official model designation No4 MKII and includes a B mark, which is associated with production by wartime subcontractors such as Birmingham Small Arms. The bayonet has its original cylindrical metal scabbard and a khaki webbing frog, characteristic of the Pattern 1937 web equipment style, which features a retaining strap and a metal press-stud.
