Victorian Silver Open-Face Pocket Watch and a protective Metal Case - A Victorian-era silver open-face pocket watch and a metal case. The watch features a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o'clock position, and blued steel hands. The silver case is finished with engine-turned decoration to the reverse and a central unengraved circular cartouche. The movement is a manual key-wound and key-set mechanism, with the cuvette featuring two apertures for a winding key. The watch is presented with a curb-link chain, a T-bar, and an associated watch key. The lot also includes a heavily corroded circular metal container fitted with a yellow-tinted lens. Hallmarks and a serial number are present on the interior of the case back but are not clearly legible due to tarnish. Case size: 50 mm.
