Charles H. Izod (British, fl. 1890-1928), Boats in a Tidal Creek, Watercolour and Gouache - A post-impressionist style landscape work executed in watercolour and gouache on Ingres laid paper depicting a group of small boats moored within a tidal creek or marshland waterway. It is signed in the lower right C.H. IZOD and bears a pencil inscription on the verso reading Charles Izod painted this c 1925. An embossed INGRES watermark is visible in the lower-left corner of the sheet.
