After Gainsborough Dupont (British, 1754-1797), 'Portrait of William Pitt the Younger' - A portrait print of William Pitt the Younger (1759-1806), presented in a three-quarter view within an oval format. This work is after the well-known portrait of the British statesman by Gainsborough Dupont. The artwork is housed in a gilt-moulded frame behind glass. On the verso, a partial paper label is present for Mawson, Swan & Morgan Limited, Picture Frame Makers and Fine Art Dealers, a firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
