A West German Earthenware Floor Vase by Scheurich-Keramik, Model 281-38 - A large earthenware floor vase of tapered ovoid form, manufactured by Scheurich-Keramik. The exterior is finished in a smooth cream-coloured glaze, featuring three broad horizontal bands of spattered or sponged brown pigment. The wide, overhanging flared rim and the interior are coated in a dark, mottled chocolate-brown glaze. The underside of the base features embossed marks including the maker name Scheurich-Keramik, the model number 281-38, and W.GERMANY. Height: 38 cm.
