Antique Alfred Williams Western Works Sheffield Bone Handle Folding Pruning Knife - An antique folding pruning knife, also known as a hawkbill knife, manufactured by Alfred Williams at the Western Works in Sheffield, England. The single-bladed tool features a curved steel hawkbill blade with a nail nick for opening. The tang is stamped with the corporate I*L mark above the words WESTERN WORKS SHEFFIELD. The curved handle is fitted with natural bone scales secured by steel pins, featuring a single rounded steel bolster at the pivot and a flat steel butt cap. Blade length: 68 mm.
