Antique Bohemian High-Enamel Ruby Glass and Gilded Metal Mounted Claret Jug - A late 19th-century claret jug or flagon, crafted in the Bohemian style and featuring elaborate high-enamel decoration. The vessel is constructed from hand-blown clear glass with a deep ruby red overlay, which has been cut to clear in large circular bosses. The clear glass areas are embellished with raised, high-relief gilt enamel depicting scrolling foliate motifs, C-scrolls, and diaper-work lattice panels. The jug is fitted with a gilded metal neck mount, a curved strap handle, and a hinged lid with a tiered finial. There are no visible maker marks or signatures; however, the style and technique are consistent with high-end Bohemian glass houses such as Moser.
