An Assortment of Mid-20th Century Silver and Enamel Fraternal and Sporting Medals - A collection of silver and enamel jewels and medals relating to Masonic, Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB), and regional sporting organisations. The group includes a silver and enamel founder's jewel for St. Cuthbert Lodge No 5294, featuring a central enamelled figure on a light blue ribbon with a silver square and compasses pin. The reverse bears Birmingham silver hallmarks with the date letter f and maker's mark T G. A second item is an RAOB Primo degree jewel on a dark blue ribbon with GLE and Pride of the Moorlands 9015 bars. The reverse is engraved Bro John G. Jones Raised 5-4-61 and carries Birmingham silver hallmarks with the date letter l and maker's mark FAS. Suspended from this is an additional circular silver and enamel medal bearing the motto Justice Truth Philanthropy. The collection also contains a Northumberland Football Association silver and enamel medal, circular with a central red and white striped shield. The reverse is engraved Mid-Week Cup Winners 1950-51 and features Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1951 with the maker's mark V & S. Total weight: 84g.
