A Pair of Silver-Plated Novelty Rabbit Salt and Pepper Shakers - A pair of animalier condiment shakers realistically modelled as seated rabbits or hares. Each figure is depicted in an upright, alert posture with detailed cast fur texture throughout. The rabbits are inset with amber-coloured glass or resin eyes featuring dark pupils. The items are designed as a functional table set, with one rabbit featuring a single pouring hole at the back of the head and the other featuring three small pouring holes. The figures are made of cast metal with a silver-plated finish and are mounted on integral square plinth bases. The underside of each base is stamped with the mark 925 Silver Plate. Each base also features a circular, slotted metal screw-in plug for filling purposes.
