Late 19th or Early 20th-Century Malacca Walking Cane with Dark Knob Handle - A late 19th or early 20th-century walking cane featuring a dark, polished knob handle, likely carved from a dense hardwood such as ebony or rosewood, or dark horn. The handle is mounted onto a Malacca cane shaft, made from rattan palm, which displays a natural warm honey-orange colour and distinctive dark mottling. Below the handle, the shaft is fitted with a circular brass-rimmed eyelet intended for a silk cord and tassel. No maker's marks, hallmarks, or inscriptions are visible on the handle or the brass fitting.
