German Pattern Infantry Officer Sword - A German Pattern  infantry officer sword.r. The grip is covered in black fish-skin and bound with twisted brass wire. The backpiece and pommel are decorated with engraved acanthus leaves. A small white auction label with the printed numerals 1599 is adhered to the ricasso area. No scabbard is present.
