Antique Iron Winged Spear with Socketed Blade and Butt Spike - A polearm featuring a long, hand-forged iron blade with a double-edged profile and a distinct centre medial ridge, resulting in a flattened diamond cross-section. The tip of the blade is blunted and rounded. At the base of the blade are two integrated, rounded wings or lugs. The blade assembly transitions into a tapering iron socket mounted upon a circular-section wooden shaft. The base of the pole terminates in a long, tapering iron butt spike with a quadrangular cross-section. Blade length: 50cm - 60cm Overall length: Approximately 215cm.
