19th Century Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock by Thomas Graham of Berwick - A 19th-century mahogany longcase clock. The hood features a swan-neck pediment above two turned columns. The painted arch dial is signed Thomas Graham Berwick and features Roman numeral hour markers with an outer Arabic numeral minute track. The arch is decorated with a pastoral scene depicting a seated woman with a dog, and the four corners are finished with blue floral spandrels. The dial includes two subsidiary dials for seconds and date. The movement is a weight-driven eight-day type with two winding holes. The case is constructed with flame mahogany veneers to the trunk door and the plinth base. The trunk door features a shaped peak top. Two cast iron weights are included.
