Mid-20th Century Double-Pelt Silver Fox Fur Stole - This is a vintage double-pelt silver fox fur stole dating from approximately the 1930s to the 1950s. The garment is constructed from two complete pelts joined side-by-side, featuring long, dark guard hairs with characteristic silvery-grey tipping. The stole includes two taxidermy-style heads with dark glass eyes and moulded snouts, alongside paws with visible claws and two bushy tails. The underside is lined with a black ruched or pleated textile, likely silk or rayon, providing flexibility for wear. A small black metal chain and a fabric-covered spring clip closure are positioned on the underside of one head to secure the piece.
