Two Mdina Glass Maltese Art Glass Vases - A lot comprising two pieces of hand-blown Maltese art glass produced by Mdina Glass. The first item is a substantial cased glass vase of flattened ovoid form, featuring heavy clear glass wings and a weighted bi-lobed base. The interior is decorated in the Sea and Sand pattern, showing a mottled turquoise ground overlaid with branching ochre-coloured veins. The second item is a squat bottle vase of compressed spherical form in translucent turquoise-blue glass with internal forest green swirling patterns and a wide, flat horizontally flared rim. The squat vase features a ground and polished pontil mark to the base.
