British Army Parachute Regiment No. 2 Service Dress Tunic 16th Parachute Brigade - British Army No. 2 Service Dress tunic for a member of the Parachute Regiment dating to the post-1953 period. The garment is constructed from olive-drab wool serge and features four front pockets consisting of two pleated breast pockets and two bellows waist pockets. The jacket is designed with notched lapels and integral shoulder straps. It is fitted with a complete set of buttons featuring the Parachute Regiment insignia, showing a central parachute flanked by wings surmounted by the Queen's Crown. Each shoulder displays a light blue rectangular cloth formation sign for the 16th Parachute Brigade. A dark blue braided lanyard is attached to the left shoulder. Above the left breast pocket is a ribbon bar consisting of the Korea Medal, the General Service Medal (1918-1962) with a silver-tone floral emblem, and the United Nations Service Medal for Korea.
