A Scheurich Keramik Model 268-40 West German Pottery Floor Vase - A large cylindrical earthenware floor vase produced by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany. The exterior features five horizontal bands of relief-moulded geometric ornamentation, with each band comprising a series of vertical rectangular panels containing a central raised lozenge motif flanked by two dots. The piece is finished in a mottled mustard yellow and olive green semi-matte glaze, with dark brown to black highlights within the recessed areas. The interior is coated in a dark mahogany-coloured glossy glaze. The base is marked with the moulded model number 268-40 and W.GERMANY. Height: 40 cm.
