Royal Doulton Character Jugs and Belleek Porcelain Vases - A collection of British and Irish ceramics including two Royal Doulton earthenware character jugs and multiple Belleek porcelain vases. The first jug is the Old Salt (D6551) model, depicting a bearded sailor with a mermaid-shaped handle. The base carries a black transfer-printed Royal Doulton mark with the lion and crown, model number D6551, and copyright date 1960. The second jug is The Cavalier, depicting a moustached man in a plumed black hat. The assortment of Belleek porcelain vases is finished in a characteristic pearlescent lustre glaze. It comprises several vases with ruffled rims and moulded foliate patterns, along with a small posy vase featuring hand-painted floral sprigs. The base of the porcelain bears the Belleek sixth green mark, dating production to between 1965 and 1980, which includes a round tower, wolfhound, and harp above the words Deanta in Eirinn.
