Early 20th Century Photographic Glass Plates, Artist Supplies, and Ephemera - A collection of early 20th-century photographic equipment, artist supplies, and assorted paper ephemera, housed in a modern blue plastic crate. The lot features a quantity of developed glass plate negatives of varying sizes, contained within original cardboard storage boxes. One box lid includes detailed printed instructions for photographic chemistry including M.Q. Formula, Pyro-Soda, and Acid Fixing Solution, associated with The Imperial Dry Plate Co., Ltd., Cricklewood, London, N.W.2, and is marked ECL Ortho. Included is a wooden or heavy cardboard box lid for Winsor and Newton's Artists Colour Manufactory, featuring a lithographed label depicting the Kentish Town works and listing the Rathbone Place, London offices. The label carries the text Prepared Canvases and Established 1832.
