A Trio of Ceramics including Chinese Export Porcelain Tea Bowl and Saucer and an Old Moreton Historical Charger - This collection consists of three ceramic items. The primary pieces are a Chinese export porcelain tea bowl and matching deep saucer, hand-painted in underglaze blue with a Canton style landscape pattern. The decoration features pagoda-style buildings, stylized trees, and bridges within a scroll-and-lattice border. The tea bowl is of handleless form and lacks a maker mark, showing an unglazed foot rim with characteristic orange-tinted iron spots from the kiln. The second item is a large circular earthenware charger, transfer-printed and hand-coloured with a scene of courtiers in Elizabethan-era dress at Little Moreton Hall. The decorative border contains the printed inscription COURTIERS AT OLD MORETON 1589. Partially visible beneath these items is a third earthenware plate with a cream-coloured body and a simple green-banded rim.
