Williams & Glyn's Bank Sleeves - A collection of UK commemorative cupro-nickel crowns and decimal currency dating from the mid to late 20th century. The lot includes a blue presentation folder printed with Britain's First Decimal Coins in gold lettering, containing a set of 1971 decimal issues. Commemorative coins include the 1965 Winston Churchill crown, the 1972 Silver Wedding crown in a green case inscribed 1947 1972 H.R.H. QUEEN ELIZABETH II H.R.H. THE PRINCE PHILIP DUKE OF EDINBURGH SILVER WEDDING CROWN, the 1977 Silver Jubilee crown, the 1980 Queen Mother 80th birthday crown, and the 1981 Royal Wedding crown. Several examples are held in original bank presentation sleeves, including green plastic sleeves printed in gold for Williams Deacon's Bank and Williams & Glyn's Bank, and a green folder for Lloyds Bank. A further 1981 crown is contained within a red square case inscribed PRESENTED BY THE RAOB GLE 1981. No maker's marks, hallmarks, or assay marks are visible on the coins.
